The role:

The Program Manager leads a high stakes program delivering services to a high profile and critical customer, based in Barbados. You will lead global cross functional teams including, Engineering, Platforms, Service Delivery and Operations. Responsible for program timeline development, documentation and execution ensuring scope, quality, timing, and cost targets are met.

What will you do:

  • Strategic planning and leadership to deliver outstanding customer service to support short and long-term growth of the Barbados customer Program
  • Aligning program outcomes with business goals and delivering long-term value to Amini
  • Managing multiple related projects and ensuring that the program's strategic objectives are met.
  • Establish and maintain standard methodologies for project and programme management, in conjunction with existing procedures
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to plan and flawlessly execute programs which exceed both customer and internal expectations
  • Full accountability for the program to ensure it is delivered on time, within budget, within approved profitability and to required quality standards
  • Planning and executing of all activities in accordance with the milestones defined by the customer
  • Identifying potential threats early in the program and implementing strategies to mitigate or eliminate them. Utilizing risk assessment tools and maintaining open communication channels among stakeholders to anticipate and address challenges proactively. Developing and implementing contingency plans to ensure rapid response to unforeseen circumstances, minimizing disruptions to program deliverables
  • Logging, tracking and timely closure of key program open risk and issues
  • Managing platform and product changes, according to flexibility and cost defined/agreed with Engineering, Sales, and Platforms
  • Identifying possible risks and critical points and applying the necessary corrective actions by escalating to get the needed support
  • Ensuring compliance and adherence to Industry Standards and Regulations, keeping up to date with evolving standards and ensuring compliance
  • Leading process for change requests and change control with robust monitoring and tracking of all change
  • Creation of Key metrics and KPI’s dashboard and establish a regular reporting cadence
  • Utilise Amini’s account management tools, CRM systems, and comply with the companies’ processes
  • Monitor and update systems to efficiently deliver accurate operational and financial reports
  • Ensure that all financial forecasting within the current, month, quarter and year is accurate and timely
  • Maintain and execute customer contracts
  • Maintain customer relationships and secure customer satisfaction, problem and conflict resolution and escalation
  • Aim to exceed customer request and deadline dates and maintain a high level of quality
  • Conduct regular customer meetings including, but not limited to monthly meetings, quarterly business reviews and strategic business reviews

What you will need:

  • A strong ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and communicate effectively across all levels within Amini and our customer’s organisation
  • Extensive work experience in project or program management leading cross functional teams
  • Positive “can do” attitude and ability to lead by example
  • Highly resourceful and resilient if you do not know the answer or how to do something important for the program you will not stop until you do
  • Loves autonomy and accountability, believes that the buck stops with them
  • Effective communication skills, with ability to build relationships internally and with customers at all levels in multiple locations
  • Flexible approach to problem solving
