Foray builds new ways of collaborating with plants to ensure lasting access to plant products we need and the ecosystems that provide them at the intersection of climate impact, biotechnology, and software. Today, nearly 40% of plant species are threatened with extinction, and conventional methods of plant sourcing exacerbate these threats. Our platform acts like an operating system for plants, using nature’s own building blocks to quickly find new ways for plant cells to grow. With AI-powered tools for analysis, prediction, and experiment design, we speed up this discovery process. We work across industries to create plant-based solutions for manufacturing, propagation, restoration, and conservation.

About The Role
We’re looking for a Content Creation Intern to help bring Foray’s story to life across digital channels. This role is perfect for someone excited about video-first storytelling and eager to experiment with different formats—from TikTok/Reels to longer-form conversations like podcasts. You’ll help us create engaging, authentic content that captures ideas, people, and culture in creative ways.

Responsibilities

• Produce short-form video content (filming, editing, captioning) for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn.

• Assist in recording, editing, and publishing podcasts or audio/video interviews.

• Capture behind-the-scenes moments to highlight our work, people, and ideas.

• Repurpose existing content into multiple formats (clips, highlight reels, social snippets).

• Brainstorm creative campaigns that showcase our mission and impact.

• Collaborate with team members to surface stories and insights worth sharing.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience (academic, freelance, or personal projects) in video creation and editing.

• Familiarity with TikTok/Instagram Reels style editing, podcast/audio editing tools, or both.

• Strong eye for storytelling and visual communication.

• Creative, scrappy, and comfortable trying new formats and approaches.

• Excited about climate, biotech, or science-driven storytelling.

• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar editing tools.

• Comfort behind the camera (directing interviews, recording content).

• Interest in translating complex topics into simple, engaging narratives.

Eligibility & Requirements

You must either:

• Be a Massachusetts resident with proof of residency, or

• Be currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate (within the past year) of, a college, university, vocational/technical high school, or training program located in Massachusetts
