Rosy Soil is building a new kind of soil brand: high-performance, climate-positive, and designed for modern plant owners. Our peat-free, biochar-based soils are gaining traction with retailers like Target, Albertson’s, and Central market who are looking for better options in the category.

We’re looking for a fractional sales partner to help maintain momentum in our grocery channel while our Sales Manager is on maternity leave.

Who This Is For

This role is ideal for someone who understands how grocery retail actually works:

• Working directly with grocery buyers, floral, and category managers
• Navigating category review cycles and assortment resets
• Managing broker relationships and distributor coordination

The Role & Impact

For ~4 months (July through October), you’ll work directly with the Founder & CEO to ensure our grocery pipeline continues progressing.

Key responsibilities include:

Pipeline Management

• Identify and add new grocery leads to the pipeline
• Continue working Rosy Soil’s existing grocery pipeline + Hubspot CRM
• Present pitch decks and offer sample kits when opportunities arise

Broker & Partner Communication

• Serve as a point of contact for grocery brokers (TopCo, Gather Brands)
• Maintain weekly/bi-weekly check-ins to track buyer progress
• Address questions, issues, or reorder needs from existing partners

Order Follow-Through

• Work with our 3PL and supply chain team to ensure orders are processed and shipped on schedule
• Track shipments through transit & confirm deliveries arrive successfully and on time

Duration

~4 monthsJuly – October Flexible / part-time commitment (to be discussed)
